Community Choices seeks to address the needs of a specific group of individuals who at various points in their lives require ongoing personal support due to the effects of mental illness. Ongoing personal support is critical for maintaining optimum mental health.

Who We Serve

The program is designed to work with individuals who deal with the more persistent effects of mental illness.

Purpose

To offer a range of activities to mental health consumers that facilitate and enhance the development of skills in the areas of daily living, including social, leisure and recreational.

Program Objectives

• Healthy social interaction through it's various group activities.
• Networking with the other participants and service providers.
• Outings in the area help connect individuals with the appropriate resources.
• Group discussions provide needed naturalized support (self-help).
• Development of hobby and recreational interests through various activities.
• Exploring vocational options through participation in the Trainex Program.
• Daily living skills development.
• Admission to the Program Individuals must apply personally and/or via referral from a clinician or family member.
