Recovery of Hope - CARE Program

For CHURCHES who want to commit to nurturing the relational and emotional health of its members.  

The CARE Program is about a congregation’s choice to provide professional counselling by Christians for any person, couple or family that needs help in their congregation.  

C – Congregation - Our congregations are meant to be places of welcome and support.  An agency like Recovery of Hope can add to the caring ministry of the church.  Your congregation has made a commitment to nurture the relational and emotional health of its members by offering the CARE Program.  

A – Assisted - A church can make counselling available to its members for a very reasonable cost.  When the whole group shares the cost, it is an efficient way of helping people and gives the message that your church supports healthy individuals, couples and families.  

R – Restore - Salvation is about receiving the grace of God.  We are used to using the word salvation to talk about acknowledging Jesus’ work in our lives by restoring our relationship to God, but it also has to do with restoration of our inner being emotionally, our relationships and the ways we act.  When our lives and relationships are transformed we are demonstrating the grace of God at work in us and our church.

E – Enrich - The journey of faith is one of constant growth.  In life we regularly face difficulties that challenge us to understand ourselves, others and God in new ways.  Often these are painful, unexpected or drawn-out experiences that use up the resources we already possess.  Counselling can be one place to deal with those experiences and enrich our selves, our relationships and our spiritual journey.
